you’re invited to spend an afternoon exploring the art of weaving and the ways it connects us to one another. Together, we’ll work with fabric and plant-based materials to create small woven tapestries. Each individual piece will then be joined with others to form a larger community tapestry—an expression of creativity, collaboration, and shared stories.

This workshop is open to everyone, regardless of age or experience. Whether it’s your first time trying weaving or a practice you already enjoy, you’ll be guided through simple techniques in a relaxed, welcoming space. Come to learn, experiment, and contribute your own thread to our collective work.

Papermaking

Join us for a hands-on papermaking workshop where we’ll turn scrap paper into something beautiful and new. Learn the basics of making your own paper by hand, and explore creative ways to press in dried botanicals for added texture and visual interest. All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and love for making!
